CONSPIRACY

Criminal conspiracy is committed when two or more people agree to commit an unlawful act and take steps toward completing the act. In order for conspiracy to have occurred, the action taken does not need to be a crime, but does need to show intent to commit a crime and knowledge by the parties that the final act was illegal.
